We’ve reserved room blocks at two hotels located right across the street from each other on Clay Street: The Jay and Club Quarters.
The Neighborhood: Jackson Square / Embarcadero
It’s an incredibly walkable area. The hotels are across from the Transamerica Pyramid, an easy stroll up into Chinatown, and a short walk to the waterfront and the Ferry Building.

Presidio Hotels
If you’d prefer to stay close to the wedding venue, there are two hotels in the Presidio: The Lodge at the Presidio and the Inn at the Presidio are both within walking distance from the Main Parade South Lawn.

AirBnBs are obviously an option and you might be able to find a good rate. We encourage you stay in San Francisco, but if you do stay in another city we recommend you find a place near transit.
Stay
Flying
We highly recommend flying into either San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or Oakland International Airport (OAK).
From either airport, you can use the Bay Area’s public transit system (BART) to get into the city. Both The Jay Hotel and Club Quarters are just a 5 to 10-minute walk from the Embarcadero BART Station.
Flying into SFO: Take the Antioch (Yellow) or Richmond (Red) train directly from the airport to Embarcadero Station. The ride takes about 35 minutes and costs around $10.
Flying into OAK: Take the airport connector train to the Coliseum Station, then transfer to a San Francisco-bound train (Daly City). Take that train to Embarcadero Station. The trip takes about 45 minutes total and costs roughly $12. Once you exit at Embarcadero Station, both hotels are located just a few blocks away on Clay Street.
Parking
We highly encourage guests to use taxi/rideshare services or public transportation when navigating the city, as parking can be limited and expensive. However, if you are driving, here is what you need to know for our venues and hotels:
At Our Hotels
The Jay Hotel: Valet parking is available for approximately $85–$90 per night with in/out privileges.
Club Quarters: Self-parking is available at the nearby Embarcadero Center garages for $45/day (or $53/day with in/out privileges). 1 Embarcadero Center is open from 5am – 9pm daily. 4 Embarcadero Center is open 24 hours daily.
At The Presidio
There are paid parking lots near the parade lawn, and rates are $3 per hour or $15 for the full day. You can pay at the kiosks or by using the PayByPhone app. Paid parking hours are enforced between 8am - 6pm, 7 days a week.
In Chinatown (Great Star Theater)
Street parking in Chinatown is notoriously difficult. If you are driving to the theater, your best bet is the Portsmouth Square Garage (733 Kearny St), which is a short walk from the venue. It is a paid lot with an evening rate of $8 if you enter by 5pm and exit by 12am.
